Once upon a time, in a magical place, a candy and yummy little house was made that looked like a children’s palace. The door to this little house was opened by Mrs. Lila, who gave everyone presents and toys (and the children came in with a thousand…)<\/p>\n

She loved reading books and nice fairy tales, filling everything with drawings and matching ornaments. She liked to talk sweetly, to offer love, care and warmth…<\/p>\n

Near her you will also see her daughter Marilou, who you won’t meet anywhere else! He transforms everyone in the palace with wings, so they can fly to knowledge far away! With love and imagination she makes everything magically!<\/p>\n

This little house became a little nest, with aesthetics made every little corner! A dream place for young children, with people with a smile and a warm heart!<\/p>\n

From the first year of our school’s operation, we wanted to create a beautiful, sugary house out of the fairy tale Hansel and Gretel, which will not only attract our young students from its beautiful marshmallows, but will be their second home, with all the warmth, love and coziness that the concept of “home” encompasses. In this little house, our own “Lilospitaki”, children will travel to the fantastic world of knowledge, through PLAY!<\/p>\n

In order to acquire knowledge, a basic prerequisite is to provide our children with an environment that offers them love, acceptance, understanding, joy, as well as rich stimuli that will allow them to develop their skills, interests and personality in a holistic way. All this will be achieved through play, which is a key component of all our activities and the learning process of our school. Always respecting each child’s way and pace of development, as well as their uniqueness, we strengthen self-confidence, responsibility and understanding of each other’s differences. The basic elements of a child’s personality are completed at the age of six. Six years that our school promises to be one of the best, full of motivation and stimulation, vitality and unforgettable creative moments!!!<\/p>\n

In addition to our children and our beloved teachers, our children’s families are our companions on the journey of knowledge. Parents take an active part in activities, help in the learning process and take pride in their children’s daily achievements. Parents, Teachers and Management work in harmony, complementing each other’s work and creating the right conditions that will allow the child to develop physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. The “Lilospito” also operates outside the school environment, as part of the local community and interacts with it. The children take part in social contribution, volunteering and environmental protection activities. In this way they learn from an early age to be active citizens!<\/p>\n<\/div>

The self-esteem and emotional fulfillment of children is our priority and is always achieved in collaboration with the family. Art exhibitions by our teachers or by our art teacher give the children the opportunity to present their creations to their parents. Every year our school actively participates in acts of love and volunteer activities. At “Lilospito” we make sure that all the teachers of our school create and constantly maintain the safe environment that every child needs in order to function with comfort and peace of mind. Inspired by curricula that support learning through play and experience, we work with the child and their family with respect, kindness and positivity. We all attach great importance to personal hygiene, preparedness and proper response of young and old in case of emergencies. We constantly encourage verbal communication, so that each child is able to express everything he or she is experiencing in and outside the school environment, to seek adult help and to protect themselves or someone in need.<\/p>\n

In this way, we maintain the emotional and physical safety of children at all times. We also place great importance on the selection of our teachers. They are all graduates of TEI, \u0391\u0395\u0399 and IEK, permanently employed. Those that have classes for children aged 3 years and older are only \u0391EI graduates, to properly prepare children for compulsory two-year education. In addition to the formal qualifications, emphasis is also placed on the right combination of age and experience to ensure the best possible chemistry in each department on the one hand and the ideal mix of freshness and knowledge on the other. Above all, we choose creative people, with a desire for continuous training, with ideas and above all with a love for the child and the child-centred learning process.<\/p>\n

The partners of Lilospitos are chosen with the same care. These include cooks, our school bus drivers, cleaners, language teachers, music teachers, music and movement teachers, drama teachers, the visual arts teacher, the gymnasts, the swimming coaches, the Tae Kwon Do coach, the ballet teacher, the robotics teachers, the special education teacher, the education coordinator, our psychologist, the pediatrician and the pediatric dentist.<\/p>\n<\/div>
